To be honest, this pill is not a snoring solution at all. The name says it all. It is a sleep aid and has nothing to do with snoring. However, I understand that you may still be curious about it.

Sleeping better is great right? I know that I enjoy every night of quality sleep that I get. Alteril is all about better sleep. That is its only purpose and that is also the only way it is advertised.

I am actually not sure why some people think that this pill can keep them from snoring. Either way, it does seem to help some people sleep better. The formula is supposed to be all natural and non-addictive.

That is a large concern for many people nowadays since so many sleep aids have some risk of dependency. I prefer to stay away from anything synthetic or addictive when I can, so I thought this might be of interest to you too.

One of the lesser-known causes of snoring this is that the muscles of the throat sometimes relax too much. Now obviously I can’t say that this pill will make everyone relax too much but it is a possibility. It isn’t as likely as with something like alcohol but it could happen.

This area is a little tricky. I am not aware of any clinical studies that were done using the exact Alteril formula. However, the individual ingredients in it have been studied and found to be effective.

As far as the FDA and BBB are concerned, the company that produces this pill is not accredited. The product is not FDA approved either, nor does it have to be since it is sold as a supplement.

One thing I did notice was the large number of complaints that have been reported to the BBB. The total was a whopping 381 at the time of this writing. Most of those were related to unauthorized credit card charges and refunds. Such a high number of complaints is still disturbing though. Some of the unauthorized charges were for around $40 even though you can pick these pills up for around $20.

One of the biggest perks Alteril has going for it is that either it will noticeably improve your sleep or it won’t. It can only go one of those two ways. Also, there isn’t much that can go wrong with a pill. The beauty here is in the simplicity of the pill.

Experiences

Most people agree that this supplement does help them sleep better. Some also think that it helps them fall asleep faster and wake up easier. These are all good things. However, although it improves sleep quality it still has no effect on snoring.
